YOUTH WEEKLY EXPENDITURE IN KRG


According to the above graph, 47% of the youth spend less than 30,000 IQD per week, while the cost of living for 27% of the sample is between 30,000 to 50,000 IQD. Furthermore, 12% of the youth spend between 50,000 to 100,000 and 5% more than 100,000 IQD. 9% of the youth either did not know the answer or answered no.


DO YOU WORK AND DO YOU HAVE ANY INCOME?


According to the above graph, more than half of the youth (51%) have no source of income. On the other hand, 23% indicated that they work intermittently, while 26% of them have steady jobs. Approximately three-quarters of young people (74%) either have no income or work intermittently.


According to the below graph, roughly half of the youth (48%) believe that half of their money should be spent and the other half saved. Furthermore, those who prefer to save a lot and spend less are 20% of the youth, while 25% believe that a small amount should be spent and most saved. On the other hand, 4% believe that all the money they earn should be spent, and 3% either don't know the answer or answered no.
